       We beg you to change for us 24 gold ducats into bank-nots according to yesterday’s exchange quotation and to let us have them this evening or tomorrow evening; whereupon we shall immediately hand over and deliver the 24 ducats – It would be very pleasant and agreeable for us if your deserving Adjutant would bring me the bank-notes, because there is something I really must discuss with him.  As a Christian he should forget all his resentment.
